Signature Minerals Hauls

Happy Monday fellas..!! guess what? I finally got my package from Signature Minerals this morning .. !! the delivery takes approximately 2 weeks, fast enough for international shipping isn't it? I am very happy, even I didn't go to college today. ha ha.. ok, stop blabbering.. :P

ok, so actually what I order? I ordered 4 samples of foundation, 1 sample of veil, and one concealer . Not much, huh? Yes, actually when I was hesitant to order a full size product. So I just wanted to try it. The fact is that they provide free samples to costumer for the first time ordering. So actually I got it for free, except for shipping costs is around $ 7.65. The samples is filled fully, they really generous huh? so imagine I could spend all the samples within a month.


The shades that I get is a medium light (5.0, 6.0, 7.0) and medium beige (5.3). They aren't named specifically and only labeled with numbers. Lil' bit confusing indeed, but not a problem for me. I also get a concealer - multitasking and also a veil (angel wings). So now I will swatches them for you, maybe you also intend to order later :)

- 5.0 Medium Light seemed very pinkish, and I don't know if it will fits in my skin tone. I haven't try it.
- 5.3 Medium Beige seemed a little darker, but still able to blend with my skin. I haven't try it.
- 6.0 Medium Light the color looks very yellow, and first I thought it would be too yellow for me, but when I try, suits me pretty well.
- 7.0 Medium Light slightly yellowish color, but not as yellow as 6.0 . I haven't try this one yet.

The coverage is average, I didn't try my concealer yet so maybe it looks better if I put concealer first. They didn't have a many formulas like everyday minerals had. However, the texture it slightly smoother than EDM.
And the Veil .............!! I think its better than EDM's Kaolin powder. It has a pretty good oil-control, and gives me this radiant look. I think I like this veil so far.. Yeah, definitely..!!

Maybe I'll consider to open Pre-order if I found myself quite liking this MMU.

TBS Tea Tree Mattifying Vs Bless Oil Control Moisturizer

Hi friends, how are you today? I hope your weekend went great. Today I'll give a little review about 2 moisturizer I've ever used. They are The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Mattifying Moisturizer and Bless Oil-Control Moisturizer. At first glance you can notice that both these moisturizers are equally for oily skin. But when viewed from the price difference is big enough, whether the more expensive one certainly have a good quality? so, I'll do a comparison on both moisturizer.

The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Mattifying Moisturizer

• What it claims : Helps to reduce oil to leave skin clear, matte, healthy-looking and minimizing breakouts.
  
• Price : around IDR 109.000 I think.
• My opinion : This moisturizer has a light texture and easily absorbed into the skin, and smells like tea tree oil (obvious right? Lol). When I used it was minty-cool, but sometimes it felt stings, probably because my face is emerging pimples. I like this gel quickly absorbed so because I do not have to wait long to apply powder on my face. But I think the oil-control is average, about an hour my face felt greasy again ( it was supposed to keep my face matte! ), and still doesn't keep pimples away from my face. Overall, I think this moisturizer just so-so, and its not like what I expected. I don't think I will repurchase anytime soon.

Bless Oil-Control Moisturizer

• What it claims : Moisturizer, enriched with UV filters, Vit. E as an antioxidant and also Pro - Vitamin B5 to moisturize facial skin that remains soft and not oily.
• Price : IDR 38.000 very cheap.. :D
• My Opinion : The Texture is not much different from TBS, its quickly absorbed too. I like the moisturizer has UV filters, so provide more protection on my face, and certainly much cheaper. I had less pimples when I'm using this stuff. So, I think its good on my face. And the oil-control much better when compared with TBS, lasted about 4 hours on my face. Its really worth to buy ! I think I will repurchase again ( it doesn't burn my wallet ).

So, it was a bit of my review, I hope can help you find a suitable moisturizer for your oily skin. I guess not all expensive items suitable for all skin.. That's it, have a nice weekend fellas.. :)

Random Beauty Tips

Today I took the time to look for beauty tips through the internet. And there are some which I think is worth a try. Prepare your notes, gurls.. !! :D

• Are your elbows dark ? To prevent chaffing on your elbows, cut a lemon in half and rub it on your elbows!
• Want to smells good all day ? To keep your perfume smelling good longer, mix a bit of it in with your moisturizer and apply.
• Hate big pores ? To take care of enlarged skin pores you need lemon juice and orange juice. Mix the juices and apply all over your face in upward and outward stokes. Wash it after 10 minutes. This is also a good facial mask for oily skin!!
• Oily skin ? To care for oily skin you should start with a gentle, foaming facial wash. This will remove dirt and oil without stripping away moisture. Soak cotton wool in a gentle astringent lotion and sweep it over your skin to refresh and cool it. Even oily skin needs a moisturizer, but chose a light, watery fluid; this will be enough for your skin. Allow the moisturizer to sink in and then absorb the excess with a tissue to prevent shine.
• Clay Mask ? Not only are they an excellent way to get excess oil out from your pores but the clay actually dries up pimples and can also sooth your skin from those itchy bug bites!!!
• Yogurt, what can it be used for ? It can be applied to you skin to soften and sooth tight, dry skin. It can be used on oily skin to absorb excess oil. And it can also be used to get rid of a flakey scalp! Massage it onto your scalp and leave it for 15 minutes. Then rinse it out, you should now be flake free!!
• Minimized Pores! Ingredients: -one green tomatoes - one tsp of honey directions using a blender puree the tomato with the honey, apply to a clean face with foundation brush, and leave on for 20 minutes, then wash.
• Stressed? It will show! Here are a few suggestions on how to detox: Natural aromatherapy oils or candles in the home - Listen to calming music at night - have a massage at least once a month - exercise at least 30 minutes a day - take a 20 minute walk in the evening - take all natural vitamins daily- And don't forget to smile!!
• Exfoliate your lips! Want kissable lips, use your toothbrush and brush your lips slightly before bed, add lip balm, and awake with smooth lips!
• Puzzled to find a suitable lip color? Your skin color is important when determining which lip color will be the most flattering. Plums, wines and deep reds are perfect for those with dark skin. Light-brown beiges with pink or orange undertones flatter light skin and brownish reds, light browns and raisin shades look good on olive skin.
• Have extra baking soda lying around the house? Use it to get rid of flaky elbows, to exfoliate your face, to brush your teeth, and even to get rid of a pimple!
• Absorb that oil! To help absorb excess oil from your roots, use a little tea tree oil with your shampoo!
• Too much dandruff and hair loss? Beat two eggs and add two tablespoons of water to it. Wet the your hair and apply the egg mixture over the hair. Now massage your scalp and leave the mixture on for ten to fifteen minutes. Then rinse the hair with lukewarm water. This will help keep the hair on your head and the dandruff out of it!!
• Not enough time for a shower? Oily hair? No problem! Sprinkle a little baby powder on your roots, for a quick fix!
• Get rid of those dark circles!!! Here's 6 ways to help eliminate dark circles: 1. Get enough sleep. Try to go to bed a little earlier than you normally would. 2. Cucumber slices have a soothing effect on the eyes. 3. Use sunscreen every day and moisturize in the night preferably using a good under eye cream. 4. Drink plenty of water to hydrate the skin. 5. Apply cold compresses. 6. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables. Iron deficiency can be a cause for dark circles around the eyes.
• Elmer’s glue ? Use Elmer’s glue on your face to get rid of blackheads! Simply apply the glue to your face and peel off when dry!

where I could get Elmer's glue? is it the same as paper glue?

Custom Dress photoshoot #2

Here are some clothes that I have done, mostly in the form of dress, but there is also a form of tops. The materials I use is stretch cotton, satin, chiffon, rayon, and semi-jeans. There are still some more that I have not taken pictures yet. It's very nice to designing and making these clothes. This does not mean that we (me and my friend) is a famous designer. ha ha .. but its fun anyway .. :D

Dream a little dream of me

Hi everyone, I'm in gloomy mood today. well, that's maybe because I didn't have a good sleep last night and a lot of pressure yesterday. So, actually I can't sleep until 3 am and start having a weird dream. Every person must have experienced a strange dream. But, I just wanna share about my dreams last night ( is 3 am considered to be "last night" ? Lol ).

I dreamed I saw myself ( in a prettier version of course ! :D ) with a man standing on the edge of the sea, We look happy but I feel a little sad. And then suddenly we were plunged aka suicide in the sea. I was confused but I was still able to smile at him. Then we parted, I woke up in a place that I do not know. Then I no longer see but I feel is in the girl's ( me) body.

I was in a world that is completely different and very foreign to me. I'm confused, scared. Then a young woman approached me and asked my acquaintance. In short, we are friends and I asked her where I am now. She did not tell me but just smiled and took me around, I feel the people around me gave me a strange look. And, this is the funniest thing in my dream because I can shop. Yes, would you think if I was crazy? I think I am..

Suddenly she was scared, I saw there was a train that fast moving behind her. But it looks too blurry. Oddly enough, I did not get hit when I was standing right next to the woman. She's running scared, and I was chasing her. Until the train stopped chasing her.
I am very worried and scared, so I asked her why she could be chased by the train? She said that she had died hit by a train.

There was something click on my head. It means ... I also die?
She told me to meet someone who can explain everything to me. She muttered something about burning skulls and something else .. before I could understand what she meant, I woke up ..

And that's just the weirdest dream I've ever had...

I feel like I should keep a dream journal from now on.

Honestly, I rarely wear any foundation at all, but when I take a look at Oriflame Catalogue, I found that maybe this one is worth to buy so I decide to order it not in sample size (which is free I guess..) but in full size tube. I know maybe I should try the sample first knowing that most of foundation I've ever tried always made my skin breakout horribly and that wasn't nice.

Anyhow, I've got this for IDR 149.000 not so cheap though, but I can't help it! tee-hee.. the shade I've got is natural beige, because I always confuse to choose any shades which suit my skin tone perfectly. They have Porcelain, Natural Ivory, Natural Beige, and Natural Rose. While porcelain is the lightest shade and Natural Rose is looked like a Tan colour. My friend suggest that I choose Porcelain, but I decide against it. My skin tone is lil' bit yellowish and sometimes it looked bit fair..
I know it's confusing. ha ha.

My first impression is this stuff has nice packaging; looks so glamour with golden colour on its package, And it comes with pumps too..! cute!
Ok, so on the catalogue it claims that this product :

• Has an Opal Pigment to adjust with your skin color perfectly. This one I AGREE, it looked bit too dark on my arm when I tried it first, but when I put it on my face and blend it well, it looks so natural for me.
• Gives you silky-smooth finishing touch. I didn't notice the difference before, but I guess it does.
• Your skin texture more even all day long. Well, it's not like 24 hours but, I found it long lasting enough.It gives me nice coverage and not caking about 6-8 hours.

The only thing I didn't like is when I don't clean my face properly after use this product, I will surely have a pimple on my face ( of course !! ). I think I gonna use it only in rare occasion, and when I don't wanna use it anymore I can always sell it with a lower price of course.. !! ha ha

Today I'm so........ Excited !! Why???
That's because my first-design dress is finished !! YAY !! I'm so Happy..
I do like to design my own clothes very much. Even, I make labels for them !
I know there is many shop or online shop that sells clothes, but I'm very confident about this one and I hope my customer will like my design.. ^_^
Did I tell you I used to run an Online shop at facebook? if not, visit amethys o'shop. sightseeing is welcomed.
I'm gonna launch my custom made dress next week probably.. I hope it'll turn out well..!!

Make your own Lipgloss

ehm ehm.., kali ini saya akan berbagi sedikit ilmu pada kalian (halah !). bagi yang doyan pake lipgloss, pasti kalian bakalan suka... :D
why? because I'm gonna show you how to make your own lipgloss! its gonna cost u less money to spend buying lipgloss at any store.

things u need :
1. Empty jar ( bisa dari wadah bekas krim malam, ato jar2 kecil yg biasa dijual di supermarket, softlense case works too !! ), cuci BERSIH.
2. spatula ato sendok eskrim , tusuk gigi.
3. lip brush.
4. vaselin petroleum jelly (its cheap and very recommended items !)
5. Blush on ( bisa merk apa aja ASAL blom kadaluarsa, gunakan merk yang menurut kamu aman yaa. in this case, I'm using my Everyday Mineral Blush - nick nack. Yes, gw bencong MMU. u will know how pretty those blushes !! :P )

How's to :
1. ambil sebagian vaseline petroleum jelly dengan spatula ke dalam jar yg sudah disiapkeuun.
2. bubuhkan sedikit blush on yg sudah dihaluskan ke dalam jar tersebut. pilihan warna sesuai selera. yang doyan warna gonjreng2 juga monggo.
3. mix with spatula atau bisa juga pakai tusuk gigi, campur sampai adonannya rata :P
4. jadi deh lipgloss nya !! :D gampang kan..

How to make ASPIRIN MASK

Aspirin mask is not something new, but many people are not aware of this amazing mask and the potential it has for clearing you skin!

Aspirin Mask biasa digunakan sebagai masker untuk mengatasi jerawat, blackhead atau komedo dan berbagai macam permasalahan kulit lainnya, especially buat yang punya kulit oily.
Aspirin is made out of salicylic acid also known as Beta Hydroxy Acid, BHA for short. BHA adalah exfoliant yg berfungsi untuk menghilangkan sel-sel kulit mati dan menimbulkan regenerasi kulit. Coba lihat produk-produk perawata kulit berjerawat, biasanya cenderung memiliki kandungan BHA nya dengan konsentrasi 1-2%.

trus gimana cara membuatnya?
So lets start with:
- aspirin ( bener, obat pusing itu lho.. bisa di beli di apotik/drugstore muraaaah )
- madu (madu asli ya, bukan madurasa)
- toner (toner apa aja bisa, gw pake toner biokos)
- pelembab (gw pakenya TBS mattifying)

caranya:
- letakkan 3-4 butir aspirin diatas piringan kecil, kasih beberapa tetes air hangat. nanti leleh sendiri.
- setelah kecampur, tetesi pake madu secukupnya aja ya..
- oleskan masker ini ke wajah, ratakan. diamkan 10-15 menit.
- sebelum dibersihin, digosok2 aja dulu ke wajah seperti kalo lagi peeling atau scrubbing.
- bilas pake air hangat.. air biasa jg gpp sih.. :P
- pake toner..!
- pake pelembab ya..
- dijamin kinclong...... spt michelle phan XP

Hi, everybody..!!
From now on, I'll be start blogging. It's pretty confusing at first and quite give me headache, but I'm very excited..!! So....
Here I come..!! mainly, I will focusing on writing about lifestlye, fashion, beauty, product review, well actually I'm gonna write anything I like. LOL
Almost forgot! I got this awesome layout from skincorner. You should check that site, 'coz it has many pretty templates for your blog, and its FREE, which is a good thing.. !
I hope I can make my own layout myself.. but now, I guess I still 'borrowing'.
And one thing my english is not very good, so if I make some mistakes please bear with me.
